Sterling, Rodri, Silva lead City to 3-0 win over Everton

Sports Desk, Nov 21 (EFE).- Raheem Sterling and Rodri on Sunday scored spectacular goals as Manchester City defeated Everton 3-0.

City put on a dominant performance during most of the game and had several chances to take the lead.

But they had to wait until the last minute of the first half to get onto the scoreboard, when Sterling made the most of a Joao Cancelo long pass with a nice half volley.

Shortly before the goal, VAR had overruled a penalty kick awarded to the England forward.

Ten minutes into the second half, Rodi fired a long-distance rocket into the top left corner, beyond Jordan Pickford.

With four minutes to go before second-half stoppage time, Bernardo Silva took advantage of a loose ball to tap it in from a close range.

With the win, Manchester City are second in the Premier League table with 26 points, three behind Chelsea, while Everton hold the 11th spot with 15 points. EFE
