Vinicius scores 8th goal of season in Real Madrid’s 4-1 win over Granada

Sports Desk, Nov 21 (EFE).- Vinicius Jr on Sunday scored his eighth league goal of the season to help Real Madrid earn a 4-1 win over Granada in LaLiga action.

It was Spanish forward Marco Asensio who opened the scoring in the 19th minute of the contest off a pass from Toni Kroos.

The German midfielder needed just six minutes to collect his second assist of the game, as he set up Nacho Fernandez for the second goal.

Granada pulled one back, thanks to a low shot from Luis Suarez that deflected off Real Madrid’s Casemiro into his own goal shortly after the half-hour mark.

Vinicius Jr found the back of the net in the 56th minute, when he tapped into a wide-open goal off a low pass from Luka Modric.

Ferland Mendy rounded off the win in the 76th minute, as he capitalized on a clever through from Casemiro.

With the win, Real Madrid are on top of LaLiga table with 30 points, two points clear off Sevilla, while Granada hold the 18th spot with 11 points.
