At least 15 people killed after apartment building hit by Russian missile

Kyiv, Jul 10 (EFE).- Russian forces have launched several attacks in Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, some which struck residential areas, which have cost the lives of at least 15 civilians, according to local Ukrainian authorities.

In Chasiv Yar, a seven-story apartment building collapsed after it was hit by a missile, Donetsk Governor Pavlo Kyrilenko said on his Telegram account.

“During an emergency rescue operation, 15 bodies were found at the scene, while five people were rescued,” the State Emergency Service said.

Three people who have made voice contact with rescuers remain under the rubble amid efforts to extract them.

Official outlet Ukrinform says that more than 30 people, including one child, could remain under the ruins of buildings destroyed by Russian bombs in Chasiv Yar. EFE
