World Children’s Day in Asia

World Children’s Day is celebrated annually on 20 November, since 1954, and promotes awareness among children worldwide as well as the improvement of their welfare.

The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the education system with scores of children from impoverished areas across Asia moving to online schooling, when possible, or dropping out.
