Centro de Lenguas realiza reunión con maestras de español
Languages Center Holds Meeting with Teachers of Spanish

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Con niveles de enseñanza de la lengua española que van desde la primaria hasta la universidad, el Centro de Lenguas de la Christian Brothers University realizó una reunión con maestras de español en su oficina.
La iniciativa tiene el objetivo de crear una comunidad de aprendizaje para profesores de la lengua de Cervantes en el área de Memphis.
Las participantes tuvieron la oportunidad de intercambiar experiencias, información de recursos, métodos, aplicaciones y otras herramientas que utilizan para enseñar el idioma español en sus respectivas aulas educativas.
Kathy Adams, de la Universidad de Memphis, junto con Federico Gómez, de CBU, fueron los moderadores y organizadores de esta primera reunión.
Entre las participantes estuvieron Carolina Quintana, Aarin Breedlove, Ellin Wacr, Vania Barraza, Miriam Polly, Cristina Magee, Tania Trawer, Melissa Cantu y otras maestras que llegaron a pesar de las torrenciales lluvias durante ese día sábado, 24 de febrero.
La próxima reunión se llevará a cabo el 7 de abril y se invita al personal docente que imparta clases de español a participar para mejorar la experiencia educativa.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — With teaching levels of the Spanish language ranging from elementary to college, the Language Center of Christian Brothers University held a meeting with Spanish teachers in their office.
The initiative aims to create a learning community for teachers of the language of Don Quixote in the Memphis area.
The participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, information of resources, methods, applications, and other tools that they use to teach Spanish in their respective classrooms.
Kathy Adams from the University of Memphis along with Federico Gómez from CBU were the moderators and organizers of this first meeting.
Among the participants were Carolina Quintana, Aarin Breedlove, Ellin Wacr, Vania Barraza, Miriam Polly, Cristina Magee, Tania Trawer, Melissa Cantu and other teachers who arrived despite the torrential rains that day (Saturday, February 24).
The next meeting will be held on April 7 and all Spanish teachers are invited to participate in order to improve the educational experience.
