Indie Memphis Presents the Documentary “Dolores”
MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Indie Memphis y la campaña de MLK50 presentan la proyección del documental basado en la vida de la activista Dolores Huerta.
La proyección será en el cine Studio On The Square mañana martes, 13 de marzo, a las 7:00 p.m.
El documental presenta imágenes remontadas en los inicios del activismo de Huerta y su relación con el movimiento de jornaleros en California, Cesar Chávez y su vida enfrentando el machismo, el racismo y la explotación de los trabajadores del campo.
Después de la proyección se contará con una sesión de preguntas y respuestas con el Director del Departamento de Arte de la Universidad de Memphis, Richard Alexander Lou, y la activista local Cristina Condori.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Indie Memphis and the MLK50 campaign present the screening of the documentary based on the life of the activist Dolores Huerta.
The screening will be at Studio On The Square on Tuesday, March 13, at 7:00 p.m.
The documentary will show images that trace back to the beginnings of Huerta’s activism and her relationship with the labor movement in California, Cesar Chavez and her life facing machismo, racism and the exploitation of farm workers.
After the screening there will be a question and answer session with the Director of the Art Department of the University of Memphis, Richard Alexander Lou, and the local activist Cristina Condori.
