Polls Are Open In Shelby County For The May Primary

MEMPHIS, TN (localmemphis.com) — Hoy es día de elecciones en el condado de Shelby.

Los votantes se dirigirán a las urnas para decidir qué candidatos terminarán en la boleta en las elecciones generales del 2 de agosto para varios puestos, incluidos Alcalde del Condado de Shelby, el Sheriff y todos los escaños de la Comisión del Condado.

En la carrera por el alcalde, en el lado republicano, están David Lenoir, Terry Roland y Joy Touliatos. Para los demócratas, son Sidney Chism y Lee Harris.

Las casillas para las primarias del Condado de Shelby están abiertas desde las 7 de la mañana hasta las 7 p.m.

Voters head to the polls to decide which candidates will end up on the ballot in the general election on August 2nd for several offices, including Shelby County Mayor, Sheriff and all of the seats on the County Commission.

In the race for Mayor, on the Republican side, is David Lenoir, Terry Roland and Joy Touliatos.  For the Democrats, it’s Sidney Chism and Lee Harris.

Polls for the Shelby County primary are open right now through 7 p.m.

Tennessee has a photo ID law, so don’t forget to bring identification with you when you head to the polls.
