Art in Science: Exhibition at the Memphis College of Art

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Patrocinado por el Hospital Infantil LeBonheur, la exhibición “El Arte de la Ciencia” acerca al público a la perspectiva artística de los científicos, a su cotidianidad y rutina en los laboratorios.
Los colores suavizan un poco las frías imágenes de los microscopios. Los trazos de acrílico imitan los ciclos de vida en células y órganos plasmados como máquinas biológicas que se pueden entender y admirar con una nueva mirada.
Cientos de personas acudieron a la apertura de la exhibición en el Rust Hall del Colegio de Arte de Memphis (Memphis College of Art). Los dos pisos se llenaron de una única exhibición que combina el conocimiento del científico y la sensibilidad del artista.
Los expositores son: la Dra. Kim Lemessurier, Amanda Nalley, el Dr. Lebron Cooper, Alexander Paulus, el Dr. Mark Corkins, Alexandria Bell, Amy Lynne Hofstetter, el Dr. Loannis Dragatsis, Melody J. Cunningham M.D., Ashley Gerst, el Dr. Ramin Almezadeh, Ashli Aaron, Bill Price, la Dra. Alicia Díaz Thomas, el Dr. Jordan Ross, Darcie Beeman-Black, el Dr. Cody Thornburgh, Erica McCarrens, la Dra. Erin Stephenson, O. Gustavo Plascencia, la Dra. Eszter Volgyi, Jan Hankins, el Dr. Toni Whitaker, Melissa Farris, Jasmin Cage, el Dr. Ranjit Raju Phillip y otros profesionales de la ciencia.
Las fotografías, tomografías y radiografías se combinaron algunas veces con tejidos de algodón y algunas almohadas imprentas que son de manera absoluta la descripción perfecta de arte-ciencia.
Esta exhibición es gratuita y estará hasta el 18 de abril en el Colegio de Arte de Memphis.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Sponsored by LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, the exhibition “Art of Science” brings the public closer to the artistic perspective of scientists, to their daily routine in the labs.
The colors softens the cold images of the microscopes. The acrylic strokes imitates the life cycles in cells and organs embodied as biological machines that can be understood and admired with a new look.
Hundreds of people went to the opening of the exhibit in the Rust Hall at the Memphis College of Art, the two floors were filled with a unique exhibition that combines the knowledge of the scientist and the sensitivity of the artist.
The artists are: Dr. Kim Lemessurier, Amanda Nalley, Dr. Lebron Cooper, Alexander Paulus, Dr. Mark Corkins, Alexandria Bell, Amy Lynne Hofstetter, Dr. Loannis Dragatsis, Melody J. The photographs, tomographies, radiographs were sometimes combined with cotton fabrics and some printed pillows that are absolutely the perfect art-science description.
This exhibition is free and will be open until April 18 at the Memphis College of Art.
