Child Shot At Southeast Shelby County Apartment Complex, According to Sheriff’s Office

MEMPHIS, TN (ABC 24 News) — According to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), a ‘small child’ was shot at Southwind Lake Apartments.
As of 10 p.m. Thursday, SCSO said detectives were investigating a shooting at the 4500 block of Hansberry Dr. in the Southwind Lake Apartments.
Around 9:13 p.m., they said a ‘small child’, a boy, was apparently shot.
He was transported in non-critical condition by Shelby County Fire Deptartment to Le Bonheur Hospital, according to SCSO.
This investigation is ongoing at this time.
