Man’s Truck Gets Stuck in Cemetery, Charged with Vandalism, Deputies Say

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MS (WMC) — The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a man they say was responsible for vandalizing a cemetery.
On Tuesday, February 13, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department took a report of a vehicle being stuck in a cemetery.
Upon arrival, deputies checked the Mississippi license plate and were able to find out who the owner was.
Deputies contacted the owners of the vehicle, and they advised their son, Nathaniel Richard Stone, had the vehicle.
Stone was later charged with destroying public property and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
