4 injured in 4th bull run at Sanfermines

Pamplona, Spain, Jul 10 (EFE).- Four people were injured during the fourth bull run on the fifth day of the Sanfermines festival in the northern Spanish city of Pamplona on Sunday.

None of the injured taken to the hospital, however, were gored.

It took the La Palmosilla ranch bulls two minutes and 29 seconds to finish the run, their second without goring any of the contestants after their run in 2019.

Over 530 events including concerts, open-air dances, exhibitions and children’s activities have been programmed alongside the main event, the running of the bulls.

The runs are interspersed with huge meals, copious amounts of wine and beer, parades, musical performances and general revelry spread out across the city, where the 200,000-strong population of Pamplona is joined by hundreds of thousands of visitors who flock there every year from across the globe.
