Movie Night at the Memphis Zoo

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — For those who enjoy a good movie, especially if it is outdoors and with the company of thousands of animals, the Memphis Zoo has organized a new after-hours event that is for the whole family: “Zoovie Night.”
Scheduled to be held on Friday, July 17, starting at 6:30 pm, “Zoovie Night” will take place in the grove near “Teton Trek” (follow signs to Wolf Gate) and it will consist of the presentation of the classic children’s movie “Land Before Time,” in addition to the current “Dinosaur” exhibit.
Tickets are $10 per person and must be purchased in advance at www.memphiszoo.org.
The Memphis Zoo recommends bringing lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Coolers are not allowed – there will be food and beverage kiosks on site.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, ticket sales for “Zoovie Night” will be limited to 250 people only. This way, it will be possible to comply with the recommendations for social distancing. It is also advisable to wear masks while you are in the zoo facilities.
In case of rain, the event will be held on July 31.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Para aquellos que disfrutan de una buena película, y más si es al aire libre y con la compañía de miles de animales, el Zoológico de Memphis ha organizado un nuevo evento nocturno que es para toda la familia: “Zoovie Night”.
Pautado para ser llevado a cabo el viernes, 17 de julio, a partir de las 6:30 p.m., el evento de “Zoovie Night” tendrá lugar en la arboleda que está cerca de “Teton Trek” (sigue las señalizaciones hacia Wolf Gate) y constará de la presentación de la clásica película infantil “Land Before Time”, además de la actual exhibición de dinosaurios.
Los boletos cuestan $10 por persona y deben ser comprados por adelantado en www.memphiszoo.org.
El Zoológico de Memphis recomienda llevar sillas plegables de jardín o mantas para sentarse. Las cavas (coolers, en inglés) no están permitidas –habrá quioscos de comida y bebidas en el lugar.
Debido a la pandemia del coronavirus (COVID-19), la venta de boletos para “Zoovie Night” será limitada a 250 personas solamente. De esa manera, se podrá cumplir con las recomendaciones de distanciamiento social. También es recomendable usar mascarillas mientras se está en las instalaciones del zoológico.
En caso de que llueva esa noche, el evento será realizado el 31 de julio.
