Ronaldo’s Man United line up against Real Sociedad in Europa League

Istanbul, Aug 26 (EFE).- Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United are set to take on Real Sociedad, FC Sheriff and Omonoia in this season’s Uefa Europa Cup, which kicks off next month.

The draw for Uefa’s second-tier European tournament took place in Istanbul Friday, a day after the Champions League group pots were revealed.

Kicking off things in Group A, English Premier League side Arsenal were lined up against Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, Bodø/Glimt and FC Zürich.

Dynamo Kyiv, who will be forced to play outside Ukraine due to Russia’s invasion, will take on Rennes, Fenerbahce and AEK Larnaca in Group B.

Roma, under the leadership of Jose Mourinho, will tussle it out with Ludogorets, Real Betis and HJK in Group C while Braga, Malmö, Union Berlin and St. Gilloise play in Group E.

Manchester United were slotted into Group E while Lazio, Feyenoord, Midtylland and Sturm Graz were drawn in Group F.

Group G and H were stocked with Olympiacos, Qarabag, Freiburg, Nantes and Crvena zvezda, Monaco, Ferencvaros and Trabzonspor respectively.
