Crosstown tendrá su primera carrera de 10 kilómetros

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Crosstown estará realizando su primera carrera de 10 kilómetros (6.2 millas) el sábado, 3 de febrero, a las 8 AM. Dicho evento será parte de la nueva serie de carreras del código de área 901 -“Start2Finish Run the 901 Series”- y beneficiará a Church Health, el centro de salud sin fines de lucro más grande de los Estados Unidos.

Además de la carrera, cuyo curso tendrá lugar en Midtown Memphis, el evento contará con su respectiva ceremonia de premiación en la plaza seguida de una fiesta para los participantes y el público en general en las instalaciones de Crosstown Concourse. Habrá información sobre los servicios de salud y bienestar ofrecidos en Church Health, actividades para los niños y comida y bebidas proporcionadas por Church Health Kitchen, I Love Juice Bar, French Truck Coffee, Curb Market y Next Door.

La llamada “Start2Finish Run the 901 Series” consiste en un evento de cuatro carreras, con distancias cada vez más largas, que se llevarán a cabo entre los meses de enero y marzo del presente año y que culminarán con el Medio Maratón de Germantown.

MEMPHIS, TN (LPL) — Crosstown will be holding its first 10K race on Saturday, February 3, at 8 AM. The event will be part of the new “Start2Finish Run the 901 Series” and will benefit Church Health, the largest non-profit healthcare center of its kind in the United States.

In addition to the race, which will take place in Midtown Memphis, the event will feature its respective awards ceremony on the Plaza followed by a party for the participants and the general public at the Crosstown Concourse facilities. There will be information about the healthcare and wellness services offered at Church Health, along with activities for children, and food and beverages provided by Church Health Kitchen, I Love Juice Bar, French Truck Coffee, Curb Market and Next Door.

“The Crosstown 10K gives Church Health an opportunity to highlight our Crosstown neighbors and neighborhood, while supporting vital Church Health services and outreach,” said Jenny Koltnow, Director of Communications and Development for Church Health. “We encourage everyone to invite friends and family to walk, run and enjoy activities that drive good health and foster a stronger community,” she added.

The Crosstown 10K race will not only raise funds for Church Health, it will also help create more awareness in the community about how to lead a healthy life in every way.

To participate in this race, one must register first logging on crosstown10k.racesonline.com, completing a form and paying a fee of $40 (if done before January 27) or $50 (from January 28 to February 3).

The so-called “Start2Finish Run the 901 Series” consists of a four-race event, with increasingly longer distances, which will take place between the months of January and March of this year, ending with the Germantown Half Marathon.
